From November 6 to 8, the 7th Annual Iberian Robotics Conference – Robot 2024 – took place at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Ph.D. student Jiahao Huang attended the event to present our latest research on mobile robots for laboratory automation.
The conference encompassed a broad spectrum of topics, including industrial robotics, autonomous systems, educational robotics, and field robotics. Participants explored various modeling techniques, practical applications, and enabling technologies, such as sensor integration and computer vision.
Human-robot interaction was a key focus, featuring discussions on personal and social robots, as well as the economic, ethical, legal, and societal implications of advancements in robotics.
