Interface Robots in Automated Analysis

Combining interface robots and mobile robots can achieve full automation in distributed laboratories with changing applications and requirements. Metal content analysis of samples is now fully automated with ICP/MS. mobile robots transfer the prepared samples from the microwave station while an interface robot links the mobile robot and auto sampler of the ICP/MS system, removing lines or transferring samples to an automated capper. The interface robot then transports the samples to the connected auto sampler allowing measurements to start automatically.
