CELISCA is the Central Scientific Research Center of the University of Rostock, Germany. The Center was founded by the chair of Lab Automation in 2003 and is a BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany)- funded Centre for Innovation Competence. The Centre is committed to its work on the way to FUTURE--LAB. This approach contains different stages of automation for life science-related processes including robotic systems/actuators, relevant sensor systems and spectrometers, information technologies as well as human-robot interaction.
